These past few days  have me spending about 75% of my time chained to my bed...hehehe...
Ive been reading quite a few fanfics and MOST of them Bonded Fics (u know....love/life/soul bonds and those romancy stuff...). Hehe... most of this bonded fanfics are quite awesome....some of them just spoon-feed the main characters with a lot of advantages w/c makes the story a little too optimistic....

(*I mean...Its okay to give these characters some bits of power to help them with their problems...but....giving them a lot of powers and advantages is just downright spoon-feeding them and it makes the enemy look like a minuscule speck of dust in par with the gigantic boulder of such an intimidating protagonist....the antagonist should have at least a bit of scary allure, a threatening presence, w/c will keep the reader thinking about the danger till the end...not that the reader will think "yeahhh..... they're gonna win...the good guys have these and that...and that awesome power and that thingy-thingy charm....<sigh> " Its supposed to be a fan-fiction...which means its literally fan-made fiction based on a certain topic/story...and the fact itself that it's fan-made should imply the fact that the story should surprise the reader with new plot twists and new insights...and spoon-feeding them is JUST....augh!!!!)

ACTUALLY....It isss kind-a awesome how everything was plotted out well....It wassss great, especially with the twists and turns and the ehrmmm "bond" (Gahh!!! I dont wanna spoil anything...but IT IS quite Potterific!!! >_<)
And at least the origin of the bond between the pair can be easily understood and at least in here they are old enough to have a bond and  the way Dumbledore is portrayed here is quite deviant but also surprisingly commendable...

Okiezzz....for now its kind-a weird how I rate them...Its coz I havent really read a fanfic story that has satisfied my imagination and literary cravings in such manner for me to give a 5/5 rating...Though "HP&Godrics Legacy" is great...but but in the other hand these fanfics are the best of the brunch....that I have  discovered so far...they might have extremely rushed parts and over-the-top plot twists but its still okay... ^_^

fanfics...and the perfectness of Harry/Ginny pairing

SQUEEE!!!! 

I just finished reading this completely awesome fanfic titled If You Can Help Her found in the website Sink Into Your Eyes  (now I must warn you that this website is purely a Harry/Ginny pairing website...)

Personally, I consider Harry and Ginny THE PERFECT PAIR! I don't know how or why other people in the right minds prefer to pair them off with different characters...They compliment each other perfectly like salt and pepper and bread on toast....sheesh!

Maybe its because Daniel Radcliffe and Bonnie Wright didn't really have that much of an onscreen chemistry to begin with. And with The trio being so closely knit it was more of a love triangle than ever....gah!

I keep on wondering how people can consider Harry and Hermione as having a stronger relationship than anyone else especially during the chapters where Ron left. They don't speak. Hermione cries over Ron. And at the same time Harry finds comfort through observing at Ginny's dot in the Marauder's map.

Its all in the freaking book people!!! THAT is HOW awesome the book is!!!
Yes ONSCREEN Emma and Dan look great together BUT ONPAGE Harry and Ginny are the perfect two!!! She is literally Harry's equal in their own version of dry sarcastic wit and their own understanding and experiences with Voldemort.

Onscreen Ginny is shy dimwitted and always on the edge of the frame...never really showing her true persona unlike in the book wherein by the time Ginny reached 4th year (OotP) she has shown her true colors and have learned to NOT tense up in Harry's presence.

"Hermione told me to get on with life, maybe go out with some other people, relax a bit around you, because I never used to be able to talk if you were in the room, remember? And she thought you might take a bit more notice if I was a bit more - myself."

In my blind fangirl rage to give proof of the immaculate obviousness of the perfectness Harry and Ginny are for one another, I have unearthed a couple of online debate lines w/c may spark you interests:

"For me, I became a very ardent H/G shipper after OotP. I kept seeing Ginny's name in so many scenes that had nothing to do with her that it made me sit up and think "Harry's noticing this girl." HBP felt like vindication, and I was thrilled with it. Now, the one part I would still like to hear is Jo's version of thier reunion after the battle."

MA: How much fun did you have with the romance in this book?

JKR: Oh, loads. Doesn't it show?

MA: Yes.

JKR: There's a theory - this applies to detective novels, and then Harry, which is not really a detective novel, but it feels like one sometimes - that you should not have romantic intrigue in a detective book. Dorothy L. Sayers, who is queen of the genre said - and then broke her own rule - but said that there is no place for romance in a detective story except that it can be useful to camouflage other people's motives. That's true; it is a very useful trick. I've used that on Percy and I've used that to a degree on Tonks in this book, as a red herring. But having said that, I disagree inasmuch as mine are very character-driven books, and it's so important, therefore, that we see these characters fall in love, which is a necessary part of life. How did you feel about the romance?

[Melissa puts her thumbs up and grins widely]

ES: We were hi-fiving the whole time.

JKR: [laughs] Yes! Good. I'm so glad.

MA: We were running back and forth between rooms yelling at each other.

ES: We thought it was clearer than ever that Harry and Ginny are an item and Ron and Hermione - although we think you made it painfully obvious in the first five books -

JKR: I will say, that yes, I personally feel - well it's going to be clear once people have read Book 6. I mean, that's it. It's done, isn't it? We know. Yes, we do now know that it's Ron and Hermione. I do feel that I have dropped heavy -

JKR: - hints. ANVIL-sized, actually, hints, prior to this point. I certainly think even if subtle clues hadn't been picked up by the end of Azkaban, that by the time we hit Krum inGoblet...

But Ron - I had a lot of fun with that in this book. I really enjoyed writing the Ron/Lavender business, and the reason that was enjoyable was Ron up to this point has been quite immature compared to the other two, and he kind of needed to make himself worthy of Hermione. Now, that didn't mean necessarily physical experience, but he had to grow up emotionally and now he's taken a big step up. Because he's had the meaningless physical experience - let's face it, his emotions were never deeply engaged with Lavender -

JKR: - and he's realized that that is ultimately not what he wants, which takes him a huge emotional step forward.

ES: So he's got a little bit more than a teaspoon; now there's a tablespoon?

JKR: Yeah, I think. [Laughter]

MA: Watching all this, were you surprised when you first logged on and found this intense devotion to this thing that you knew was not going to happen?

JKR: Yes. Well, you see, I'm a relative newcomer to the world of shipping, because for a long time, I didn't go on the net and look up Harry Potter. A long time. Occasionally I had to, because there were weird news stories or something that I would have to go and check, because I was supposed to have said something I hadn't said. I had never gone and looked at fan sites, and then one day I did and oh - my - god. Five hours later or something, I get up from the computer shaking slightly [All laugh]. "What is going on?" And it was during that first mammoth session that I met the shippers, and it was a most extraordinary thing. I had no idea there was this huge underworld seething beneath me.

ES: She's putting it into a positive light!

JKR: Well I am, I am, but you know. I want to make it clear that delusional is your word and not mine! [Much laughter]

MA: You're making our lives a lot easier by laying it on the table -

JKR: Well I think anyone who is still shipping Harry/Hermione after this book -

ES: [whispered] Delusional!

JKR: Uh - no! But they need to go back and re-read, I think.

ES: Thank you.

JKR: Yeah.

MA: That is going to -

JKR: Will it make your lives slightly easier?

[All three]: Yeah, yeah.

JKR: I think so.

MA: I have to tell you, I'm looking forward to [this coming out], because, you know, a lot of this is predicated upon a necessary hate for another character. Ron has suffered horribly at the hands of Harry/Hermione shippers.

JKR: That bit makes me very uncomfortable, actually. Yeah, that bit does make me uncomfortable.

ES: Honestly, I think the Harry/Hermione shippers are a very small percentage of the population anyway.

MA: Yeah, if you do a general poll -

ES: They seem more prominent online, but that's just because the online fandom is very -

MA: Militant was the best word I heard -

JKR: Militant is a beautifully chosen word. Energetic. Feisty.

[Laughter]

MA: What does it do to you to see a character that you love, for people to express sheer hate -

ES: Or vice versa.

JKR: It amuses me. It honestly amuses me. People have been waxing lyrical [in letters] about Draco Malfoy, and I think that's the only time when it stopped amusing me and started almost worrying me. I'm trying to clearly distinguish between Tom Felton, who is a good-looking young boy, and Draco, who, whatever he looks like, is not a nice man. It's a romantic, but unhealthy, and unfortunately all too common delusion of - delusion, there you go - of girls, and you [nods to Melissa] will know this, that they are going to change someone. And that persists through many women's lives, 'til their deathbed, and it is uncomfortable and unhealthy and it actually worried me a little bit, to see young girls swearing undying devotion to this really imperfect character, because there must be an element in there, that "I'd be the one who [changes him]." I mean, I understand the psychology of it, but it is pretty unhealthy. So, a couple of times I have written back, possibly quite sharply, saying [Laughter], "You want to rethink your priorities here."

ES: Delusional!

JKR: Again, your word!

ES: On our websites we have a tendency to have very different stances on shipping. On The Leaky Cauldron, they toe this fine political line.

MA: Down the line. We say, "If that's your thing, that's your thing."

ES: And on MuggleNet, we say -

JKR: [Laughing] You say you're delusional lunatics?

MA: He basically says, "If you don't think this, just get off my site."

The clues to the real Ginny are all there in books one to four if we choose to read the signs aright. Ron refers to her as normally talkative (CS3); she pushes him away when he tries to comfort her after the Chamber; she expresses gleeful mischief on spilling the beans on Percy's assignation with Penelope (CS18); she suppresses a smile when she comforts her brother after his refusal by Fleur Delacour (GF22). All of these reveal brief glimpses of the real Ginny. She has six big brothers to contend with; therefore she will have learned defences. Also, she is friend and confidante to cool and clever Hermione (GF22). Therefore she will be intelligent and certainly no fan girl. In Flourish and Blotts, for example, she stands up to Draco Malfoy (CS4). Most of all, she is a Weasley and a Gryffindor; therefore she will be brave, kind, and fun. All this is subtext, though, and for four books Rowling is content to allow Ginny to hide in the wings behind a veneer of docile shyness.

Ginny’s wit is a trait that Harry immediately notices and enjoys during his stay at the Burrow the summer before his sixth year. Ginny doesn’t like Fleur very much, and she uses this disdain to make a rather dramatic exit after her first scene with Harry: “She swung her long red hair around in a very good imitation of Fleur and pranced across the room with her arms held aloft like a ballerina.” (HBP 94) Already, Harry appreciates Ginny’s wit as being deadly accurate. Later, after Fleur demonstrates her adoration of Bill, “Ginny mimed vomiting into her cereal behind Fleur. Harry choked over his cornflakes and Ron thumped him on the back.” (HBP 106) Ron’s younger sister has turned out to be very funny indeed.

Harry continues to revel in Ginny’s humour throughout the rest of the book. During an early Quidditch practice they have an exchange that could have been tense. Ginny calls Ron a prat and Harry feels she has overstepped her bounds. Harry corrects her, “‘And Ginny, don’t call Ron a prat, you’re not the captain of this team -’ / ‘Well, you seemed to busy to call him a prat and I thought someone should -’ / Harry forced himself not to laugh.” (HBP 267) Ginny makes Harry laugh even when he worries it might not be entirely proper. The examples are numerous - the one constant in his scenes with Ginny is she almost always does something to amuse him.

Ginny is being her usual witty self, but there is one key difference - Harry is feeding her the lines to set up her final joke. Not only are they funny individually, but their sense of humour is one and the same, and they play extremely well together.

Harry always found Ginny to be physically appealing. As early as twelve years old he remarks on her “bright brown eyes” (CoS 35) and “flaming red hair.” (CoS 226) Even amidst tragedy, Harry has thought of Ginny in very attractive terms. During Harry’s fifth year, Arthur Weasley is attacked and Harry spends the night with the Weasley siblings and Sirius. Rowling describes each of the other people in the room and notes that, “Ginny was curled like a cat on her chair, but her eyes were open; Harry could see them reflecting the firelight.” (OotP 423) It’s a lovely, even romantic image, and while Harry may not be sexually attracted to her yet, he does find Ginny to be quite pleasant to look at.

Harry seems quite distracted with Ginny’s hair - it earns numerous mentions throughout the series. The fact that he finds it one of her most attractive assets is confirmed when he mentions it again in his sixth year - the year he discovers his sexual feelings for her. Early in the book Harry is disappointed when she leaves him alone on the train and he notes, “He felt a strange twinge of annoyance as she walked away, her long red hair dancing behind her.” (HBP 131) And again, even in battle, she stands out. When he is chasing after Snape he doesn’t stop for two bodies on the floor, but “Harry now saw red hair flying like flames in front of him,” (HBP 558) and he pauses long enough to assist his girlfriend.

Ginny is, and always has been, a pretty girl, but it is her humour that wins Harry over in the end. As Cho and Fleur amply demonstrated, being beautiful is not enough. It is the wicked combination of the two traits that pushes Ginny over the edge into Harry’s romantic favour. 

The fact that it takes both humor and looks to win his interest also explains why it took so long for Harry to notice Ginny sexually. It is not until the fifth book that Ginny starts to become comfortable enough around him to be able to display her true personality - and Harry starts to notice her more. And it is not until the summer before Harry’s sixth year that he actually spends enough time in her presence to finally uncover the wonderful attribute that really gets him going.

Its the literary "word of God". JKR herself made this pair and she most certainly made sure Harry's thoughts and internal musings would be in par with the said pairing (sheesh! If only his "angry green monster of jealousy  and doubting "She's Ron's sister" thought were present in the big screen then this ship would certainly be more obvious and well founded)

I know that I sound like a totally crazy idiot thatz muttering completely random things right now... but you see... I made this blog just so that I can get over my oh so sudden and completely random, out of the blue  late-bloomer Potter-depression. <sigh>

ya see...after one eventful day.... wherein I decided to freely browse the web out of total boredom I ended up listening to a couple of Wizard Rock songs.... the first w/c is namely "Accio Love" by Ministry of Magic....an extremely awesome Fandom which literally blew me out of my window...(*which never really happened since the windows I have here in my dormitory aren't really built in a manner which would allow to allow such an insane occurrence to take place* and DUH! that was a purely imaginary scene! hehehe... :3 )

yupz! these guyz are totally Badasss!!! 

And before I knew it I was already listening/downloading AND going all Fangirl gaga! (with a goofy smile on my face) over the songs...I swear Im soooo LURVVING WROCK! ryt now... And BTW Oliver Boyd and the Remembralls got me fawning all over their songs....

Christian Caldeira has a godly talent...his WOW! 

I was literally gushing and having eargasms all over the place for a week....Their song "Open at the close" got me all teary eyed whenever I listened to it....And also "Oh Ginny" (I ship H/G so get over it!!!) got me trying swooning and emoting over and over....gah!!!

In the past Ive already heard of "A Very Potter Musical" and "The Pals of Potter".

The first one (AVPM) I've heard when I was in High School through a fellow Potterhead classmate of mine who just continuously belted out "Totally AWESOME" over and over AANND OVER again...and just wouldnt shut up for a couple of days on how she "got-to-get-back-to-Hogwarts" haha! Those were the days... <sigh>

The second one, which is literally a completely weird (but fun) oddity!; just got to me from some random links on youtube...

Anywayzzzzz I cant really say anything else except that you're sure to expect me giving out the links to certain potty2x stuff...and maybe perhaps (only if I can grab hold of them) some exclusive interviews, info and stuff...Im sure that for these first few days Im most likely to post the links to certain WROCK music Bands and such....

But then... I m just a beginner in this world of "specific blogging" hehe... (I know I made that up but what I mean is... u know....blogging about a specific thing/subject.... I swear I've been blogging about sooo many random stuff these days so much that my mumblebloggs archive is mostly a jumble of random topics... :3)
